The Uzbek company Elektrqishloqqurilish JSC, owned by RESBUD SE, a company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, is working on a large government project implemented in Uzbekistan. The company signed an agreement to create an external power supply for the tourist and recreational zone "Zomin" and the international year-round resort "Plateau Suffa.2400" in Uzbekistan. Under this contract, it will perform works related to the construction of part of the 110 kV transmission line and all general construction works at the 110 kV "Suffa" power station.

In April 2021, the President of Uzbekistan signed Decree No. UP-6102 "On activities to create a tourist and recreation zone Zomin and an international year-round resort.” Hotels, cultural and recreational centers, shopping and entertainment facilities, as well as the year-round resort "Plateau Suffa.2400" together with the "Uriklisoy" complex, will be located on a total area of ​​700 hectares in the Zomin district of the Jizzakh region.

Ski lifts, a cable car, a multifunctional sports center, health centers and a congress center will also be available to tourists. The inauguration of the first facilities of the complex took place in November 2022. Currently, four projects worth 456 billion Uzbek soms (approximately EUR 34 million) are being implemented in the Zomin zone. These are: a multi-storey parking lot, a restaurant, suspension bridges and a health center - it was stated in the last government report on this subject from 2023.

A large tourist and recreation zone, built in accordance with international standards, aims to increase the tourist potential of the region.

Under the signed contract, Elektrqishloqqurilish JSC, a company belonging to the RESBUD Group, will perform works related to the construction of part of the 110 kV transmission line and all general construction works at the 110 kV "Suffa" power station. Stage III of the project envisages the construction of a double-circuit 110 kV OHL line, implemented by connecting it to the existing 110 kV OHL line "BAXMAL-1,2". In turn, as part of stage IV, a new indoor 110/35/10 kV Suffa power station will be built.

On September 6, 2023, RESBUD SE and its subsidiary Conpol sp. z o. o. signed an agreement with Uralska Energetyczno-Budowlana Spółka Akcyjna for the purchase of 100% of shares in two companies: Grid Solutions Sp. z o. o. and United Grid Solutions Sp. z o. o., both based in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), directly holding 95 shares of Elektrqishloqqurilish JSC, i.e. 144% of its share capital. The transaction enabled RESBUD SE to expand into the dynamic market in Central Asia.
