On October 14, 2025, EQUNICO SE CEO Krzysztof Długosz participated in the prestigious "Doing Business in Uzbekistan" business meeting held at the Business in Małopolska Center. The event was organized by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK), the Business in Małopolska Center, and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), focusing on the prospects for developing economic cooperation with Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region.
During the panel discussion "Challenges and Opportunities of Expanding to Central Asia," President Krzysztof Długosz, representing EQUNICO SE, and representatives of the Polish-Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, discussed key aspects of doing business in the Uzbek market and neighboring countries in the region. The discussion highlighted both the opportunities and challenges facing Polish companies interested in expanding into these dynamically developing markets.
The President of the Poland-Asia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Janusz Piechociński, presented the economic potential of Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region, indicating the priorities of business cooperation and practical aspects of implementing projects in these markets.
The participation of President Krzysztof Długosz in the event confirms the strategic commitment of EQUNICO SE in initiatives supporting the entry of Polish entrepreneurs into the Uzbek market and the development of businesses in the Central Asia region, in accordance with the adopted EQUNICO SE strategy for 2024-2026.
