RESBUD SE provided information on the status of application of Good Practices 2021

RESBUD SE has published a report on the company's application of the Code of Good Practices for 2021, i.e. corporate governance principles developed by the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW). The aim of the WSE guidelines is to create tools supporting effective management, effective supervision, respect for shareholder rights and transparent communication of companies with the market. The adoption of good practice principles by listed entities contributes to the improvement of corporate governance in Poland, and in the case of many companies, their application also has a positive impact on the level of share quotations on the stock exchange.

August 9 this year RESBUD SE published a report on the state of application of Good Practices 2021, which includes, among others: maintaining transparent and active communication between the holding company and capital market participants. To exchange information, the company uses various tools, such as the corporate website (www.resbud.pl), where all information important for investors is posted.
The set of corporate governance principles developed by the WSE and the related rules of conduct have a significant impact on the relations of listed companies with their market environment. Thus, they constitute an important element in building the competitive position of these companies and significantly contribute to strengthening the attractiveness of the Polish capital market.
The Principles of Good Practice and related regulations are subject to issuers of shares admitted to trading on the regulated market of the WSE. The new rules entered into force on July 1, 2021. This is the result of the work of experts from the WSE Consultative Committee for Corporate Governance, representing the interests of various groups of participants. The implementation of the Good Practices is voluntary, but informing about their application is the responsibility of each listed company, as specified in the WSE Regulations.
The new WSE guidelines reflect current trends and follow European regulations in the area of corporate governance. In line with the expectations of market participants, the new Good Practices include ESG issues, such as: climate protection, sustainable development, diversity in the composition of company bodies and equal pay.
