History EQUNICO SE

in the 50s

In the 50s, the company's scope of operations covered the area of south-eastern Poland. The high demand for construction and assembly services contributed to the very dynamic development of the company. The company employed over 7 people and carried out investments that were increasingly complex in terms of organization and technology. It was then that RESBUD (currently EQUNICO SE) established its undisputed position as the industry leader in south-eastern Poland.

At the end of the 60s

At the end of the 60s, the company, while implementing investments on the domestic market, simultaneously began export contracts. The company's engineers and employees implemented projects in numerous European countries, including the Federal Republic of Germany, the German Democratic Republic in Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Belgium, and also on other continents, such as Africa, where a contract was implemented in Libya.

In the 80s and the first half of the 90s.

In the 80s and the first half of the 90s, over 1100 people, or one third of the employees of RESBUD (currently EQUNICO SE), carried out foreign projects. Revenues from sales of export construction projects amounted to almost 30 percent of the Company's total sales. During that time, projects were carried out under over 50 contracts.

90s - privatization

In the early 90s, in order to adapt the structure and organization of production to new market conditions, the company began the process of thorough restructuring of a number of areas of its activity. In 1994, the privatization path of RESBUD (currently EQUNICO SE) began and the company was transformed into a joint-stock company operating under the Commercial Code. The majority stake was taken over by the Second National Investment Fund. Another important stage in the history of the company was the commencement of the listing of the company's shares on the over-the-counter market of the Central Table of Offers in 1998. RESBUD SA (currently EQUNICO SE) was the first public company listed on this market in Poland.

After 2000

The culmination of nearly 10 years of presence on the regulated public market was the debut of RESBUD SA shares on the Warsaw Stock Exchange SA, announced on 27 September 2007. During this period, the company specialised in comprehensive residential, industrial, infrastructure and public utility construction, especially sports halls, swimming pools, shopping centres and logistics centres. RESBUD (currently EQUNICO SE) was the contractor of many construction investments awarded by industry bodies throughout the country. Thanks to its extensive experience and numerous implementations, the Company has earned the reputation of a reliable and trustworthy partner of first choice.

2019 - 2020

In 2019, following the change of the majority shareholder, RESBUD SE (currently EQUNICO SE) changed its business model and strategy, beginning its transformation into a modern, dynamically developing group of companies operating in the construction, energy and civil engineering markets, as well as production, logistics and supply of materials for the construction and energy sectors.

2021

In 2021, the Company finalized the process of acquiring 100% of shares in Uniwersim Sp. z o. o., Conpol Sp. z o. o. and Energokomplekt OOO (87,8% directly and 12,2% indirectly), thanks to the private subscription of over 2020 million new shares of the company conducted in December 218.

2022

In 2022, the Company's registered office and the seat of the Company's management board were moved from Tallinn in the Republic of Estonia to the territory of the Republic of Poland. The new seat of the Company is located in Modlniczka.

2024

On September 10, 2024, the General Meeting of Shareholders of RESBUD SE changed the company's name to EQUNICO SE. This is another step in creating a new quality in a listed company whose shares have been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2007.
